Construction Committee Roundtable on Expert Extrapolations and Daubert Motions. Construction Committee Co-Chair, Dan Dresch, will lead a discussion on strategies for addressing plaintiffs’ experts who selectively choose claimed areas of defect, and then attempt to extrapolate those defects to an entire project. We will discuss deposition techniques to attack experts that proceed in such an unscientific way, weakening their credibility and potentially setting up Daubert motions. We will have an open discussion on this or other points of interest in the CD field.
