Rules Changes that Impact Your Practice
The Florida Supreme Court of largely overhauling the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and making amendments to the Rules of General Practice and Judicial Administration that impact how you might want to manage your practice and inform your clients. This presentation will discuss the major, and some of the minor, changes to the rules that came into effect this year and will come into effect on or before January 1, 2025. Join us to stay in the know on the new requirements, including pleading affirmative defenses, procedures and timing for summary judgment, getting your case stayed, or asking for a trial continuance.
